Leo Kanner was an Austrian-American physician, psychiatrist, and social activist. He is best known for his work regarding Autism being the first to be recognized in such work with his paper "Autistic Disturbances of Affective Contact".[1] He, along with Hans Asperger, Anni Weiss and Grunya Sukhareva, are credited for discovering Autism.
